Boo at the Zoo delights approximately 18,000 costume-clad youngsters and their parents over seven nights, at the biggest gathering of little princes and princesses in the Pikes Peak region. We want your organization to be a part of it! High visibility, low overhead and big fun are the three key elements every organization looks for when participating in an event, and Boo at the Zoo guarantees all three.

Beneficiary:

Your investment helps offset Boo at the Zoo expenses and supports the care of our animals. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will purchase more than 315,000 pieces of candy for treat stations to distribute over the seven nights (candy is free for you to give away, but is not donated to the Zoo).  The rest of the revenue goes to support the care of our animals. CMZoo is a nonprofit and one of only a handful of zoos nationwide that does not receive any tax or government support, and Boo at the Zoo is our largest public fundraising event of the year.

Booth Details:

Your investment fee includes:

All the candy you will need!   The candy that we provide is manufactured by companies belonging to the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, which means they are dedicated to doing their part to protect wild orangutan habitat.

Please do not bring your own food or candy items to hand out unless pre-approved.

One six-foot table (table covering, tent and lighting not included; you are required to bring your own)

Access to electricity

Ability to leave booth materials at the Zoo for multi-night vendors.  Tents, in bags, and two sealed storage containers can be left at your booth space overnight (for multi-night vendors only). Be aware that your materials will be exposed to the elements and wildlife, so be sure they’re waterproof and there is no food/candy or valuables left inside. Materials that do not fit in your two allotted containers must be removed from the Zoo each night. (We cannot store large quantities of brochures and giveaways.) If you leave booth materials from week to week, we will move them to a secure location during the week, and deliver them back to your booth for the next event night.

Special location requests are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive notification of your location, in addition to more detailed logistical information, before the event.

Allowed Booth Activities/Giveaways

Vendors can bring giveaways, coupons or any other promotional items to market your product or company!  Most “swag” is welcome with advance approval from the Zoo. The following items are exceptions and not allowed: balloons, Frisbees™, bouncing balls, stress balls and bubbles are not allowed on Zoo grounds as decorations or as handouts to guests.

Do not host any additional activities at your Spooky Treat Station – activities are not permitted due to the large crowds.

No roaming to handout items away from your booth location. Giveaways and flyers must be handed out only from your booth location.

Sorry, you may not ask guests to fill out entry forms or sign-up for lists – collecting of information is not permitted due to the large crowds at this event.

No selling items or collecting donations is allowed.

From the Animals

Each organization/company is eligible for 10 discount coupons, good for $3 off per ticket.  A discount code will be emailed to the email address that you list on your registration.

Refund Policy
